[edit] Tidy up
I have gone through this article making the following changes:
- All instances of past tense(s) changed to present as per Timeline of chemistry noted as an example in Wikipedia:Timeline
- U.S. and U.S.S.R. to US and USSR as per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (abbreviations)
- Major increase in links to other articles
- One or two removals of indecipherable English and rewording of dubious prose
- Conversion of the few non-American English spellings to American English in the interests of consistency as per Wikipedia:Manual of Style
- Removal of the section about the arrival of A-10 aircraft as it lacks relevance
There is still lots to be done on the referencing, and I may have missed a few style points, but it's a start. Davidelit (talk) 14:56, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
