the trivia of tim has been taken frrom IMDB and GOOGLE.

The information about Tim's youth is not vandalism. It is from personal experience growing up with Tim Commerford at Turtle Rock Elementary School, Rancho San Joaquin Junior High School, and University High School and living down the street from him.

[edit] bass descriptions

Put some variety in the bass descriptions, sheesh.

[edit] Twin-necked bass

A double-necked Fender Jazz bass? Hmm, sounds interesting. Somebody should find a picture! - Ndrly 22:55, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

EDIT - Who ever put that is only partially correct, he does own a one of a kind twin necked bass made in the Fender Custom Shop, and I believe that there is a picture of it in the newest Audioslave CD. But whoever put it has 51' P-Bass necks is a dumbass, 51' P-Bass headstocks are small, and do not look like the modern fender bass necks. More than likely they meant 57' P-Bass necks as this was when the current headstock came into production. ALSO - Tim basses usually have maple fretboards, not rosewood, although he does own a black j-bass with a left-handed p-bass neck w/rosewood. ALSO - The person who wrote most of Tim's Bass descriptions doesn't know the difference between a fret and an inlay, and not all of Tim's basses were re-fitted with P-Bass necks. - RedHotRageSlave 17:07, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

I deleted the comment about the Rickenbacker Bass neck. It said "the color and type of neck on this bass is unknown..". Rickenbackers don't have bolt-on necks, i.e. the bass he used would have to have a stock Rickenbacker neck.

Also: this article needs a lot of grammatical clean-up. - User: Bm5481

[edit] Vegan?

Is Tim a vegan? I've never heard anything of it, but this suggests he is. ~Switch t c g 10:59, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Audioslave - Out of Exile.jpg

Image:Audioslave - Out of Exile.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. [edit] Rewrite

I've tagged the Career section for a complete rewrite, because at the moment the only time he is specifically mentioned in the section about RATM and Audioslave is a vague reference to the incident at the 2000 VMA's, which should be expanded to explain what the incident actually was. --Richmeistertalk 19:34, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tattoos

Why is there a paragraph devoted to Commerford's tattoos in the lead, of all places? I'm going to move that paragraph to the section on his personal life. Huntthetroll (talk) 03:33, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
