Tiffin University

Tiffin University is a university in Tiffin, Ohio. Founded in 1888[1], Tiffin University enrolls over 2,300[2] students in undergraduate and graduate degree programs offered at the Tiffin campus in Tiffin, Ohio, at the University of Bucharest in Romania, and at several locations in Ohio, including the Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, Fremont, and Lima areas, as well as online. Their athletics team name is the "Dragons".

The Bachelor of Arts degree is offered through the School of Arts and Sciences in Arts Administration, Communication, English, History, and Law and Society. Teacher education programs are offered through a partnership with Lourdes College, and the Associate of Arts in Paraprofessional Education is offered as a joint program with Heidelberg College. The Associate of Arts in General Studies is available through the Ivy Bridge College of Tiffin University.

The School of Business offers the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer and Information Technology, Management, Marketing, and Sports and Recreation Management, as well as the Associate of Business Administration degree in Accounting, Business, and Computer and Information Technology.

The School of Criminal Justice and Social Sciences offers bachelors degrees in Psychology, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Forensic Psychology, Forensic Science, Homeland Security/Terrorism, Government and National Security, and an accelerated degree completion program in Justice Administration, as well as the Associate of Criminal Justice degree in Law Enforcement.

Also, study abroad programs in several countries are available for undergraduate students. The University is notable in that it enrolls a large group of foreign students, notably those from China and the aforementioned Romania. Also with a large presence of Pacific Islanders.[citation needed]

Graduate programs, which are coordinated through the Office of Graduate and Online Education, include the Master of Business Administration degree with concentrations in Leadership, General Management, Safety and Security Management, and Sports Management, the Masters of Humanities, and the Master of Science in Criminal Justice degree with concentrations in Justice Administration, Forensic Psychology, Crime Analysis, Criminal Behavior, and Homeland Security Administration.

Tiffin University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, The European Council for Business Education, and the education partnership is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

Ivy Bridge College of Tiffin University is part of Tiffin University, an independent, coeducational institution that has been educating students since 1888. Tiffin is recognized nationally for its accredited on-campus and online courses.

Ivy Bridge offers a completely online Associate's of Arts in General Studies. A degree from Ivy Bridge is a degree from Tiffin University. The Associate of Arts in General Studies is authorized by the Ohio Board of Regents, and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Commission (NCA).

Ivy Bridge College is unique in that every student gets a success coach upon enrollment. A success coach is like a mentor who helps a student with study skills, time management, and achieving academic and personal goals.

Ivy Bridge College also has transfer agreements with numerous colleges and universities throughout the United States. Transfer, or articulation, agreements allow credits to sign over from Ivy Bridge College to other schools.
