Tiago Pereira

Tiago César Moreira Pereira (born July 4, 1975 in Santo Tirso), commonly known just by Tiago (pron. IPA: [ti'agu]), is a Portuguese footballer who currently plays as a tough defensive midfielder for U.D. Leiria. UEFA Cup winner with FC Porto in 2003, also played for SL Benfica, Boavista F.C.. and CS Marítimo.

Also had abroad stints with Rayo Vallecano (1998-99) and CD Tenerife (1999-2000).
