[edit] three times a lady

does anyone know what the song meant really?

Yes, an older version stated "Lionel Richie wrote the song after hearing his father give a speech at his thirty-seventh wedding anniversary especially for his wife, whom he loved dearly. " - but some idiot removed it to put the joke in. The person who put it in as an anecdote at the end, referring to Scott Mills by name was the best way to refer to the joke, in my opinion.
