From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thomas Allan Brick (born: - died: ) was a politician and farmer from Alberta, Canada.
Brick was a pioneer farmer who is largely credited with brining grain farming to the northern Alberta.
Brick ran for public office and was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta in the re-run of the 1905 Alberta general election for the Peace River electoral district on February 24, 1906. Brick ran as a candidate for the Alberta Liberal Party defeating James Cornwall who also ran in that election for the Alberta Liberals. Cornwall had been previously elected MLA for that riding a year earlier but a re-run was forced due to irregularities in the vote. Brick only served 1 term in the Legislature opting not to run again in the next provincial election.
