The Rapture is the eleventh and final studio album by Siouxsie & the Banshees. Released in 1995 by Geffen Records, the album received mostly poor reviews from critics and a less-than-lukewarm response from longtime fans. No significant chart singles came from the album, although two were released. With the Banshees, co-production work was performed by John Cale, known for his experimental work with The Velvet Underground and the late Nico. The album is notably the only Banshees release to be out of print.
