The Producers

The Producers commonly refers to Mel Brooks' series of comedic works about two con-men who attempt to cheat theatre investors out of their money:

• The Producers (1968 film), a film written and directed by Mel Brooks starring Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder
• The Producers (musical), a Broadway musical based on the film, dating from 2001
• The Producers (2005 film), a film adapted from the Broadway adaptation, starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, and Uma Thurman
