"The Night Before" is a song by The Beatles from the album Help!. It was written by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon/McCartney. The song is performed on the Salisbury Plain in the second Beatles film, Help!.

The song features a Hohner Pianet electric piano rollicking throughout the whole song, accompanied by McCartney's ascending and descending basslines. John Lennon and George Harrison sing harmony during the end of each verse and the chorus, singing "Aaah the night before...". After the second repeat of the refrain, Harrison plays the guitar solo, that briefly reappears at the end of the song.
