The Nagnate were a people listed as living in the west of Ireland according to Ptolemy's map of c. 150 A.D. They are thought to be identical with the Fir Ol nEchmacht.

According to Ptolemy's map of Second Century Ireland, c. 150 A.D., the Nagnate were a people living in the western areas of that land. They are thought to be identical with the Fir Ol nEchmacht.
