Dia duit! I'm Irish, a vocational Seanchaí, and on Wikipedia since 2004. I write articles on various aspects of Irish history, in an effort to add to our knowledge of Irish heritage, and popularise the works of writers and historians I especially esteem. My own feeling is that few people here in Ireland, never mind abroad, seem to realise the incredible depth of our heritage, and I wish to dignify it by presenting it, if only in a small way, to the people of today and to increase knowledge generally.
