The Joan Kenley Show is hosted by Executive Producer, Joan Kenley, PhD. The Program is presented as Conversation Radio that “touches the mind, body, heart, and soul”. In each hour Dr. Kenley offers a different theme with expert guests. Going beyond the interview format, Joan invites listeners to tune in to a conversation shared among leaders and innovators in a variety of fields – ranging from the personal to the global. Guests are encouraged to participate in the creation and direction of the show in advance, so that everyone can delve in to the topics and ideas in ways that may not have been shared elsewhere.

Joan Kenley’s Talking Matters launched in February 2006 on KRXA 540 AM, broadcasting in Carmel, Monterey, and Santa Cruz. During the initial months on the air, the show rapidly grew in popularity, and San Francisco’s Air America Radio station, KQKE 960 AM ”The Quake” - which broadcasts to the entire Bay Area - invited Dr. Kenley to join their weekend line up.
Renamed The Joan Kenley Show, the program premiered on KQKE September 9th, 2006, airing Saturdays at 5pm PST.
In September 2007, KQKE became KKGN Green 960.
Dr. Kenley is currently on hiatus from the station as she expands her radio format with various co-hosts. She continues to create her programs regularly, making them available on her website and through various podcasts.
