Arthur E. Gray aka The Gray Man is a fictional character in The Hardy Boys Casefiles book series by Franklin W. Dixon.

He is a short, balding man, who is an expert in undercover operations, who works for a top-secret organization, the Network. He has worked with the Hardy boys many times. He is a very ordinary looking man who easily fades into any background and blends into any crowd. What hair he has left is gray and his eyes are gray as well. His skin even has a gray pallor.
