The Doctor is an album by Cheap Trick, released in 1986. It was commercially unsuccessful and today is out of print. Many fans consider it Cheap Trick's worst album. The songs were typical 80's-styled songs, most of the prominent instruments being overpowered by electronic instruments. The single "It's Only Love/Name Of The Game" was released in December 1986 but failed to chart. The album peaked at #115 in the Billboard Album Charts.
Interestingly enough, an orchestrated version of "Kiss Me Red" is covered by ELO Part II. "Take Me to the Top" was played in Cheap Trick's 25th anniversary concert and can be found in the Silver Live album.
