The Definitive Part One, released in 2008, is a compilation album by the NWOBHM band Cloven Hoof. All the tracks are re-recorded versions of existing Cloven Hoof songs by the band's current line-up, apart from "Mutilator," which will feature on their next full-length album. The drum, bass, keyboard and rhythm guitar tracks were recorded live in the studio. Vocals and guitar solos were then dubbed in. Mick Powell was still part of the band when the recordings were made but had left by the time of the release and is credited as a guest musician.
