The Catherine Cook School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Catherine Cook School is an independent, private school in Chicago, Illinois offering kindergarten through grade 8. It was known as the Melrose School until September 1992,[1] when it was sold a new building, named after the late mother of the building's former owner.[2]
In 2002, a homemade explosive device was found near the school.[3]
Pupils at the school use tablet computers with handwriting-recognition capability rather than conventional school supplies.[4]
