The Buzz is the official student newspaper of SAR High School. It reports on student activities, the school's sport teams, and other events centering around students and the school.

This newspaper was first conceived in 2003 by Dr. Edward Zevin (the 9th grade world history teacher at the time). The newspaper staff failed to publish a single issue of the paper during its inaugural year, and in its second year as well under new advisor Stephen Schloss. The Buzz printed its first issue in May 2006. This year the newspaper has released two issues, one on November 29th and another on January 30th with the help of advisors Rebecca Schwartz and Steven Schloss
