On a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Avril Lavigne revealed that the concept for the music video would be "Like a film of comedy, it has some funny scenes and a cute story about me wanting my 'Prince Charming'".

The video was directed by Wayne Isham and was filmed on February 28, 2008. The official video premiered on TRL Italy on April 4, 2008.

The video shows Lavigne as a cheerleader with back up dancers, in a light blue dress wearing a short pink wig, and in a black and pink room performing with her band. She played the drums towards the end of the video while wearing a T-shirt which displayed her clothing line logo "Abbey Dawn". Along with her brother Matthew, her former band members Evan Taubenfeld and Devin Bronson also made an appearance in the video. The Video is now also released on Sony BMG's myplay/musicbox which contains all videos released by BMG artists[5], but you can find a better quality at Australian Sony BMG Musicbox[6]. The video also premiered on Imeem on April 9, 2008, in which Lavigne herself introduced the video[7] and on Yahoo! Music/ Video[8].

[edit] Chart performance
