The Art Institute of Salt Lake City – is one of The Art Institutes, a system of more than 40 educational institutions located throughout North America, providing education in design, media arts, fashion and culinary arts.
Established in 2007, The Art Institute of Salt Lake City is a branch of The Art Institute of Las Vegas and is owned by Education Management Corporation, which is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania [1]. Palmer DePaulis, the director of Utah’s Department of Community and Culture told the Deseret News in January 2008 that the opening of The Art Institute of Salt Lake City was “historic for Utah” [2].
The Art Institute of Salt Lake City is located at 121 West Election Road in Draper, Utah, near the Wasatch Mountains at the south end of the Salt Lake Valley, and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) [3].
The Art Institute of Salt Lake City is a member of the Draper Area Chamber of Commerce [4].
