The Alamo

Typically, The Alamo refers to the Battle of the Alamo in 1836, in direct reference to a building referred to as "The Alamo" in San Antonio, Texas.

The Alamo also might be referring to one of several films inspired by the battle, which include:

• The Alamo Casino in Sparks, Nevada
• It is also the name of the cube in the middle of Astor Place, Manhattan.
