[edit] Recent edits

I made a number of grammatical changes to place periods and commas inside quotes, contrary to previous edit, which was otherwise good in that it improved flow. Punctuation in American English is inside quotes; see wikipedia article on quotation marks. (I'm ok with British English, which may allow differently, but most recent edit did not consistently punctuate in British style or American.) The Hells Angels extras were from Venice, CA, according to movie literature, not from San Pedro, which was the chapter portrayed in the film. Corrected spelling errors. ~swinterich 12/8/05

• A black and white pop culture poster depicting Peter Fonda, in costume as Heavenly Blues, straddling a Harley Davidson motorcycle has sold 30 million copies.
• Diane Ladd became pregnant with her daughter, actress Laura Dern, during shooting.
• Peter Bogdanovich appears in the opening credits as "Assistant to the Director."
• During filming, female cast members wore police whistles to ward off unwanted advances from biker extras.
• The "We want to get loaded..." line is sampled and used in the intro of Primal Scream's song "Loaded" and also during the intro to Mudhoney's "In 'N' Out of Grace"
