There are several bands that have used the name "The Things". One of the earliest was from Texas in the mid-sixties. During the 1980's a band called The Things put out a few LP's on the VOXX label that were categorized as neo-psychedelic or "paisley underground". Prior to the debut of the Dublin, Ireland "Things", a Baltimore, Maryland based psychedelic garage-rock band called "The Things" put out a CD called Major Bailey's Menagerie. The Baltimore "Things" disbanded in 2007.
