see 28th (North Gloucestershire) Regiment of Foot , They were awarded this honour after fighting in Egypt. The Battalion had to stand back to back to fend off the French attacks , hence they wore Regimental cap badges on the front and rear of their headress JS1 (talk) 13:27, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
