WikiProject Musical Theatre tasks:
edit this Open Tasks template
- Articles needing a content fork
- Mainly, these are articles on films and either their source or subsequent musicals. There are a couple where the musical needs to be "forked" from the source material. Feel free to add or remove as necessary. Important: If you split an article, please make sure that you move all the relevant links from the first article to the new one. To find which links to move, click on "What links here" at the old article and look through the list to see which links should be pointed to the film related link (for example, articles on actors in the film). Then, click on those links and update them to point to the film article. Thanks!

This article is within the scope of WikiProject Middle-earth, which aims to build an encyclopedic guide to J. R. R. Tolkien, his legendarium, and related topics. Please visit the project talk page for suggestions and ideas on how you can improve this and other articles.
Note: Though it states in the Guide to writing better articles that generally fictional articles should be written in present tense, all Tolkien legendarium-related articles that cover in-universe material must be written in past tense. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Middle-earth/Standards for more information about this and other article standards. |

[edit] Contradictory sources
I'm sorry but i don't have time to write this page, and some of the info i found was contradictory, so i will just let someone else do it. Here are two links. FlowerSniffer 15:25, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, there is a lot of contradictory information! -- Ssilvers 03:52, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

- Nothing contradictory at all. Two versions of the musical. One in Toronto, Canada (the first one). After that closed down, the production was moved to London, where it is currently playing. Carcharoth 00:07, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Could you tell me if this was appropriate to go ahead with? Or if not, why? Thank You, John A25130177 (talk) 14:00, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think the issue here (why your edit was removed) is that it comes dangerously close to being an advert/directory listing for the show (Wikipedia is not a directory). Certainly your reference is not a good one - the official site should be quoted for this info. In fact, there is already a link to the official site where all this information can be found for those who really want it... Hope that makes some sense - feel free to ask if not! -- Dafyd (talk) 18:00, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
