[edit] The Hills Have Eyes ¿2?

There is a movie called "The hills have eyes 2" by Wes Craven in 1985.

Yes, but technically its "The Hills Have Eyes Part 2" as in the sequel to the original film. This new one isnt a remake of that film, its a new sequel to the 2006 Aja remake. -Lindsey8417 13:49, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Which is still totally confusing if you ask me, am I right?74.195.3.11 17:17, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

ain't sure where to add this but i believe it is of note that this movie was shown in place of a childs movie at a theatre (think in california). just wanted to tell you.

   Gossip, Urban legend, or fact?

[edit] "Official" Myspace

I really have my doubts about the link to the myspace. First off, its not even layout that official film myspaces have. And the information is copy and pasted from the wikipedia article. Unless anyone can show some proof that its official, I'm removing the link. -Lindsey8417 08:30, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] too revealing

I deleted some of the plot, since it revealed to much of the movie. Goldfishsoldier 03:59, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

The point of a plot section is to tell the plot (which in turn reveals things that happen in the film). I'm going to revert it back, but I'll add a spoiler warning. -Lindsey8417 12:01, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Too Subjective

"Unfortunate scientist"? While some may see him as unfortunate, the mutant would most likely have a different perspective.

Disagree, the wording refers to the state of his fortunes, not whether he was deserving of them. Since dying in any case, and especially in such a manner, is not considered desirable, it is unfortunate. 70.125.132.204 (talk) 11:12, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edits

I copyedited the characters section and reorganized it to make it better-looking. Also made some edits (Stump is a guy). I was wondering: how much detail do we need in this character section? I altered it so that the sections just list general ages (i.e. 'young man') and removed the race info - IMO they're unnecessary. Thoughts? -Elizabennet | talk 05:17, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rape

Sick and tired of these movies using rape as horror entertainment. The last one was disgusting the way the mutant breast fed. Fucking sick. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.165.185.32 (talk) 23:28, 21 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Cleanup

The plot section of the article could use some cleanup. It feels very informal and not very professional. Also, the article could probably use a few citations--as an example, there's a comment in there that says "It's an anti-war film" under plot. It's uncited, and after reading the article, I didn't understand how it was even remotely an anti-war film. 69.250.67.28 20:15, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree with the comment about the plot section, I have performed some fundamental cleanup myself, fixing the obvious spelling and grammatical errors. I have not seen the film, so it would be better if someone who has would perform a more serious overhaul. Irishnightwish 15:11, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
This is probably the worst plot write up I have ever seen. I mean, it describes exactly what happens in the film but stuff like "He doesn’t get the chance to use it as he’s arm’s impaled preventing his reach, so Missy can painfully pound his manhood with a mallet before Napoleon gives Hades a sore throat to remember by shoving a bayonet down straight into the head mutant’s mouth." A sore throat to remember? Hahaha, jeeze. 69.152.233.242 13:38, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Can't the plot be as simple as "Bunch of army guys resupply murdered scientists - they then get murdered and eaten" (using big boy words, of course). Why do we need such a long plot?--Tronner (talk) 00:33, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copyvio

The plot summary is ripped from here. I suggest someone completely overhaul it - I haven't seen the movie, so I can't do it myself. 122.126.39.21 08:36, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Incorrect statements

Someone wrote that there is no US National Guard and that National Guardsmen refer to their state. This isn't correct, because the National Guard was federalized back in the 1930s. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_National_Guard.

[edit] Proposal for new section Iraq War Parallels

On a featurete on the DVD version of the movie Wes Craven states that it would be "disingenuous" for him to say that there were no parallels between the Iraq War and the plot of the movie. While the movie was not "political" the plot in which young members of the National Guard get into a situation in which they did not expect or understand and the mutants had the advantage of knowing the area and being brutal but doing for reasons they thought were correct was meant to mirror the situation in Iraq. Edkollin 20:23, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] plot summary

I'd agree that the 'plot summary' section is too detailed, and the writing is amateurish and quite unencyclopedic. Jodamn 03:10, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Weird Space

I can't work out in the Production section why theres a extra space after the link to Fox Atomic at the end of the sentence where it mentions a Wes Craven introduction and a small gallery.

I've looked at the code elsewhere in the production section and all the code looks the same as it is in that sentence but its still got that extra space after the Fox Atomic link. Captainkid (talk) 14:39, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
