Talk:The Heat Is On (TV series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
is a popular prime-time BBC talent show
If this show was axed in 1994 then surely "was a popular..." is more correct than "is a popular". In any case, "popular" requires some quantification - viewing figures would be appropriate here.
much-loved comedian
How can we know this? No evidence is cited that Davro was "much-loved". His prostitute chasing drug habit might even suggest that love was something seriously lacking in his private life. As far as his public popularity is concerned, it would be better just to say that he was popular (unless ther author really believes that his television audience actually "loved" him.)
the award for "Best Female Production Assistant"
Is this a joke?
an unfortunate incident during filming for that year's Christmas special.
Dont tantalise us - if you are going to mention this then you really ought to say more - particularly since you include the qualifier "unfortunate" - if we dont know what the incident was how can we judge if you are correct in your assertion that it was "unfortunate"?
still fondly remembered amongst TV fans
Citation needed. I do not think the show is fondly remembered at all. There needs to be something here to prove me wrong.
is often credited with starting the trend of 'reality tv'
By whom? Citation definitely needed here. I can think of many TV examples prior to 1990 that have a better claim to this title.
