Just in case any Dane wondered: "The Funen Village" seems to be the name used by Odense Municipality. I would personally have translated the name as "The Funish Village". Valentinian T / C 22:07, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Is there a special reason why "The" is included at the start of the article name? My reading of Wikipedia:Naming conventions (definite and indefinite articles at beginning of name) is that this should be avoided where possible.— Rod talk 19:25, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
