[edit] Bosco is a Bollox

Has anyone actually seen this clip? Ray D'Arcy denied that this ever happened on a Fix-It Friday a few weeks back. RMoloney 00:29, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The Den finished?

What moron added the two sentences saying that The Den finished on the 10th July this year!? It is still running now, with the same name, same title sequences, same presenters - what the hell are you talking about? --Zilog Jones 20:59, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

Word on the street is that come Autumn, The Den will be unrecognisable from the current format (or the format prior to the regular presenters going on holiday). Apparently the name will stay, but everything else will be changed. That is most likely what the contributor was referring to....

All I can find out for definite from RTÉ is what's here, which I'm adding to the article page. --Rdd 22:56, 14 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Relaunch in 1997?

I could have sworn it was actually 1998, when It relaunched.

[edit] The Swamp

Between 1996 and 1997, The Swamp took The Den's place as a weekday strand during the summer. Mossy Fergerson, Rory and Rasher Bacon, a puppet, presented the show. The Swamp took place in a chipvan and a shop where the cast would show. The cast were involved in plots, such as saving Rasher from an eagle and getting rid of a vampire. Skelly, a talking skeleton, made several guest appearances on the show. In 1997-1998, The Swamp was aired on Saturdays and Sundays, while The Den was broadcast on weekdays.

Should there be a section on The Swamp in the article? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tails333 (talkcontribs) 13:03, 23 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Jump Around

Summer replacement for the den for one season. Presented by Joe Rooney & a puppet.. Bogger (talk) 18:30, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ian McKellen

I distinctly remember Sir Ian McKellen being a guest star on the show before the Lord of the Rings was released. Could anyone verify this? --212.2.163.97 20:55, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:DenTots.jpg

Image:DenTots.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
