To accompany his debut album Texas Flood, Stevie Ray Vaughan hit the road for his Texas Flood tour, which started at Club Tango in Dallas, Texas and ended on December 31, 1983 at The Boathouse in Norfolk, Virginia.
Performances at the El Mocambo and Austin City Limits were released on commercial VHS and DVD.
