In Step is a blues-rock album by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released in 1989. The title In Step can be seen as referring to Vaughan's new-found sobriety, following the years of drug and alcohol use that eventually led Vaughan into rehabilitation. It was also Vaughan's final album with Double Trouble. In 1990, he recorded a collaboration album with his brother, Jimmie Vaughan, called Family Style; later that year he died in a helicopter crash.

[edit] Bonus Tracks
The 1999 reissue adds the following tracks:
- "Stevie Ray Vaughan Speaks" - 0:37
- "The House is Rockin'" (Live) - 2:48
- "Let Me Love You Baby" (Live) - 3:46
- "Texas Flood" (Live) - 7:28
- "Life Without You" (Live) - 13:17
"Life Without You" features an anti-drug talk, as was common when Stevie performed this song live. The song is note-worthy as it features two extended guitars solos, considered to be among his best playing. However, as this version is only found on this re-issue, it has not received the praise some would argue it should.
