[edit] Fix Template

Can someone fix this template? It's putting articles in Category:-Class television articles, which shouldn't even exist. I looked at the code and I'm absolutely stumped. -N 10:23, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Auto assessed articles appearing in two places

Auto-assessed articles are appearing in both Category:Automatically assessed television articles and in Category:Automatically assessed Television articles. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 18:34, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

This should now be fixed. Collectonian (talk) 16:44, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "??? class"

I don't have the time right now, but I was going to try editing this template to fix a problem. The issue is, with all article talk pages, even if you've added an assessment for the TV WP banner, it lists the class on the left side of the tag as "???" when it should have a colored background "B", "Start", etc. I believe this happens with TV articles of all classes; even FAs, like Lost (TV series) list ??? as the assessment on the left side of the tag. The importance works, but not the class. This needs to be fixed, and I'll try to do it soon, although the code is a little baffling... JamieS93 13:50, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Hmmm...I thought maybe my recent edits to add the FL Class broke it, but I undid and still not wasn't working. Blech. The template class seems to be working at least. The code is so confusing, and looking at others hasn't helped. Maybe someone at Wikipedia:WikiProject Templates can help? Collectonian (talk) 15:14, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
I asked in there and discovered it isn't our banner at all, but {{WPMILHIST/Class}}, which we seem to be using for some unknown reason. I've created our own class file that uses the old code, before WPMILHIST changed theirs, updated the template, and all is good again. Collectonian (talk) 16:25, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Updates due to Task Force

How do we request updates to this template, specifically for the addition of a Task Force? Tamr007 (talk) 22:59, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

First, discuss the task force in the project talk to build consensus for it to exist and what it should focus on. If approved by the project, once the task force is set up, post a note and the template will be updated. I see you already created one, and I can tell you now that it will not be approved and such an action was inappropriate. We rarely do task forces for a single series, and The Shield is not one that would be granted such an exception. I've userfied the page you attempted to create, as you had no consensus to create it. You can find it at User:Tamr007/Shield-- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 23:03, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
I was just passing by the page and I read your comment. I just wanted to ask what made the Avatar task force special to where is could exist (seeing you said you rarely do task forces on specific series). I mean, I do not specifically support series-specific task forces, but I am just asking. Parent5446 (t n e l) 02:35, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
It was originally created back in 2006 before the guidelines were tightened up more so it was grandfathered in (much like many of the other series task forces that don't have a large franchise around it). Avatar probably doesn't need one, and probably wouldn't pass for one today, though it does have a more extended franchise and larger set of articles. We tend not to delete any projects or task forces unless they are hoax or a violation of policies. :-P -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 02:41, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for clearing that up. Parent5446 (t n e l) 14:06, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reviewing Department

OK, there has to be at least ten links to a reviewing department. Could anybody explain what this might be referring to, considering the current link is dead? Parent5446 (t n e l) 14:07, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Where are you seeing those links? -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 16:13, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, I removed some of them (since they were in descriptions of parameters that did not exist), but I believe there is still one in the description of the Peer review parameter. I am not sure whether such a department existed before or something like that... Parent5446 (t n e l) 17:26, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Ah...I was wondering if they were supposed to be links to the assessment page or something. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 19:13, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
