This article was original research that a new user submitted, but I have spent about half an hour cleaning it up so that hopefully it can be used.

We might still want to add a photo or two. Clipart is fine.

Also, do any of you find that the article is now somewhat boring and just a list of facts?

Mobile Equipment - Is Research In Motion (RIM) considered a foreign equipment provider in China for mobile phones?

One billion Chinese people, or around 80 per cent of the country's population, may use cell phones by the year 2020, making China the world's No 1 market, director of the China Centre for Economic Research of Peking University, Lin Yifuthink-tank has forecast.
