Ted Adams, South Carolina, was the first chairman of the U.S. Taxpayers Party. He has been the chairman of the the Constitution Party of South Carolina since at least 2002.
In 2000, Adams ran for U.S. South Carolina House District 4, receiving 16,495 votes (9%) and coming in 2nd place. [1]
In 2002, Adams ran for US Senate, finishing 3rd with 8,228 votes for 0.8% of the total vote [2].
