Most of these have references but have one of the following problems:
- They are not formatted properly. This is most common with external links that are missing retrival dates as specified here
- They call the references section something else that is not as clear that they were used as actual references to add or check material in the article. Some were clearly used as references, so I noted them so we would have a count of what names are used.
- They have a section that includes both references and something else, without specifying which were used as actual references.
- Air Force One – “sources and further reading”. Which were used as references and which were not?
- Space elevator – “links and references”. Which were used as references and which were not?
- Cristero War – “references and external links” which are which?
- Bioinformatics – called bibliography, but appears to be references
- Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome – “External links and references”, but all external links, none properly formatted as a reference.
- Rhazes – Has “references and further reading”. Which were actually used as references?
- Gender role formatted only as “notes”
- Baroque – “external links and references” – not properly formatted
- Prostitution- “external links and references” – not properly formatted. Which were used as references and which were not?
- Coca-Cola – called bibliography
- Tea one external link listed as reference improperly formatted.
- Éire – additional reading and sources
- Isan references are all external links, not properly formatted
- Lake Burley Griffin - references are all external links, not properly formatted
- National parks of England and Wales - references are all external links, not properly formatted
- People's Republic of China – not properly formatted
- Provinces of Thailand – not entirely properly formatted
- Ridge Route – called sources
- Rondane National Park – not properly formatted
- Yellowstone National Park – some not properly formatted
- Zion National Park – some not properly formatted
- George Fox – not well formatted
- History of the Netherlands – not properly formatted

- Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius- has print reference and external links listed as references, not properly formatted
- Ackermann function – 2 external links listed as references, not properly formatted
- Algorithm – one of the references is an external link not properly formatted
- Louis Armstrong – called bibliography
- Sex Pistols – references and further reading
- Igor Stravinsky – sources and further reading
- Charles II of England – 2, both external links and not properly formatted
