Taranaki-King Country

Taranaki-King Country is a New Zealand Parliamentary electorate.
It is currently held by Shane Ardern MP[1], and is a rural and safe National electorate.

The electorate includes a number of rural towns: Opunake, Otorohanga, Stratford and Te Awamutu.

The electorate was created for MMP in 1996 by combining the adjacent rural electorates of the King Country and Taranaki.
