Taran Killam (born April 1, 1982) is an American comic actor. Killam currently stars on the MTV sketch comedy program, Short Circuitz.

Killam was born in Culver City, California and graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts in 2000. His great-uncle was The Untouchables star Robert Stack. In 1994, aged 12, he made his first film appearance in the Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult. He used to date Amanda Bynes.[citation needed]

Killam officially joined the cast of MADtv in 2001, as a feature performer, for the seventh season. Nonetheless, his tenure on MADtv was limited to only one season as he decided to not return. He has been a regular cast member on the third and fourth seasons of Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out. Nobody's Watching never aired on network TV, however the show was leaked and webisodes continued until June 2007 on YouTube.

In 2001, he had a small role in Big Fat Liar as the bully who took Jason's skateboard. After MADtv, Killam has appeared on TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Jake in Progress, Still Standing, Boston Public, The Amanda Show, Trevor in Drake & Josh, Do Over, Roswell and Judging Amy. His recent film credits include roles in Just Married, Big Fat Liar, Anderson's Cross and Stuck in the Suburbs.
Taran appeared as a contestant on the episode of The Price is Right which aired on December 7, 2006; the episode was re-aired on July 19, 2007.
Taran has recently gained notoriety on the Internet as "Derrick" from the unaired show "Nobody's Watching."
