would be good to reference the 20,000 IU of vitamin produced by 20 minutes of natural UV exposure and whether tanning beds produce this same effect. The human body's vitamin D production is naturally limited to about 20,000 IU/day. After the precursor is used up, no more vitamin D is produced.

  • you get Vit. D from tanning beds (dont have refs in front of me right now), but this wouldn't be the article to quote it in. Pharmboy (talk) 20:05, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
