Tamdan "The Barn Cat" McCroy (born November 5, 1986 in Ithaca, NY) is an American mixed martial arts fighter. He currently fights as a welterweight in the UFC. His strengths are that he is well rounded, is awkwardly strong and a deceiving appearance. Fighting out of Central New York, he trains at CNY MMA in Cortland, NY, where he is a co-owner along with Erik Charles. [1] His most notable win came over The Ultimate Fighter 4 contestant Pete Spratt at UFC Fight Night 10.

Tamdan Wade McCrory was born in Ithaca, NY. He has a twin sister named Tegan. He graduated from Ithaca High School Class of 2004. McCrory is currently a senior (Class of 2008) at State University of New York College at Cortland pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. [2] He began fighting mixed martial arts in 2006, after meeting soon to be coach and mentor, Erik Charles, through Myspace.com. He became one of the youngest NABC Champions at the age of 19. In May 2007, he signed a contract with the UFC. [3]
