I have spoken with a representative of Talisman Energy, and he will be providing me with material to counter some of the allegations and innuendoes that they feel appear in this article. The result will be a more balanced article that provides both sides of the story. In the meantime, I ask all of the contributors to please source their materials on this article. Thank you. Is anything going to happen with this, or can we remove the NPOV header? - SimonP 15:22, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Should it be mentioned that the federal liberal government sent a committee to investigate the alleged wrongdoings in Sudan, with the intent of forcing the company out of the country, but they returned with nothing but praise for the effort talisman was putting into maintaining human rights and standards of living in the Sudan? Or how the lawsuit against them by the church group was dismissed in canadian court? Would this add to the nutrality and factuality of the article? On a side note,is it a coincidence that the darfur massacre (genocide?) only happened after the canadian oil company pulled out of the country? heckuva coincidence. Nickers
