Taillon is a provincial electoral district in Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. The district is located in Longueuil (includes the northern portions of the city) and in the 1995 Quebec referendum it voted 61% for Quebec to separate. The riding was created in 1965 from Verchères and Chambly.
It was named after former Quebec Premier Louis-Olivier Taillon who was in power for four days in 1886 and from 1892 to 1896. [2]
