Apart from Taggart and Blake's Seven are there any series (book, TV etc) where the "title name" has continued somewhat after the eponymous lead character has departed (for whatever reasons)? Jackiespeel 22:17, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Yes - Dangerfield continued without the character of Dr. Dangerfield after Nigel Le Valiant left (the medical centre the show was set in was renamed 'Dangerfield Medical Centre' in his honour so that the change made sense. The forensics drama McCallum also continued without Dr. McCallum after John Hannah left. Smurfmeister (talk) 16:00, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Title Change

I've edited in information about the title changes after Mark McManus's death (firstly the addition of the suffix 'The Legend Lives On' and later 'Legends') but I don't know exactly when the changes, or the reversion, happened - if anyone else does feel free to add!
