[edit] Move

The suggestion to move it from Nestorian to East Assrian reduces the utility of the entry to non-assyrians.

Most will be looking for Nestorian Christians or Nestorian Assyrians, as those are the terms they have heard.

Moving the article, but leaving a redirect would be an appropriate solution. Wfh 19:15, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

yes, obviously a redirect will be left behind. We won't remove mention of the fact that they are also known as "Nestorians", but "Eastern Assyrians" appears to be the more neutral term. --dab (𒁳) 08:19, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
As if its not enought that the ACOE Church itself rejects the term Nestorian, there are only 300 google hits [[1]] and most are talking about ancient times. If there is no rejection by others, I will merge it with Assyrian people, as it has been proposed for a while now. Chaldean (talk) 14:13, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
