[edit] Medals table
At the end of the competition, the medals table contained a record for Tunesia, and the medal standing of Australia, Italy, Poland and Russia, as well as the table medal order were different. A retroactive competition ban on Oussama Mellouli of Tunesia announced on 11 September 2007 resulted in vacating his two medals.
