- Evidence
At Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dashmate Logansryche is arguing that the article, which he wrote, should be kept. Using almost the exact same wording as Logansryche 12.45.207.2 argues for keep and mentions a conversation that Logansryche had with Stifle about the Dashmate having an 8-track. Also in further comment he ask that the article be deleted along with his account. I do not know this is simply a case of Logansryche forgetting to log-in, but the fact that he(if 12.45.207.2 is him) "voted" twice lead me to believe that this incident should be taken here

- Comment As I noted above in the evidence I am unsure whether this is just a case of forgetting to log in or a fairly poor attempt to double vote using a sockpuppet. Either way I thought it best to bring it up here. TonyBallioni 21:04, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Comment Looking at the wording of the anon's entries, I doubt that this is anything more than a case of forgetting to sign in. As for voting twice, what I see is just a person unfamiliar with Wikipedia protocols (just look at Logansryche's edit history, he's obviously new around here) who might have thought all of his entries must begin with either keep or delete. Forgetting to sign in has happened to me before (happened today, actually) and I believe this is a completely forgivable mistake on his part. --Blanchardb 23:38, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

- Yes that's what my impression was and forgetting to sign in has happened to me as well but I wanted to get some community comment on this because I wasn't sure. TonyBallioni 23:47, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Did you ever think of asking him? In any case, probably a good faith mistake, yes we still assume good faith around here. —— Eagle101Need help? 05:27, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- We could have done it, but he hasn't shown up since the tag was put on his talk page, so the problem is reaching him. Anyway, I doubt that we will be seeing more of him. Too bad: this case has WP:AGF written all over. --Blanchardb 21:56, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I will admit that I should have contacted him first to discuss this issue; however seeing as he has not logged in since then I would have most likely have taken it here. I consider "voting" twice in afds a very serious matter and while I thought that this was most likely a case of forgetting to log-in, but seeing as it was linked to an on going afd I thought it was best to take it here to get some community input and form some consensus (another important principle of Wikipedia along with assuming good faith) on what to do in this matter. If the consensus is as it appears to be now that this is just a case of forgetting to log in I would be the first to recommend that nothing be done and apologize to Logansryche for the inconvenience. - Comment - You wont get rid of me just yet. I dunno where this came from but this is the low down. I am indeed very new here to Wikipedia and was under the assumption that if i proved credible proof that something existed, i could wrote an article on it (hence my argument over the pictures). HOWEVER, I've made my arguments from not only my home pc but 2 pcs at work(one considered to be free and the other is web filtered). But back to the matter at hand (the radio), does it count to have found a parts list? cause i did through contacting sears directly with led me to a site that had parts and a diagram of the radio. Another matter at hand, I left my comment on my board alone for a couple of days expecting replies over there and then I find this. And yes, I spoke with Stifle about a dashmate that has an 8-track player in it (found it in an ad off ebay). I mentioned this to him as this was the only thing close to what I have at that time. You guys just love to pick me and my account apart don't you. And to your "keep and delete" tags, I saw them there and used them to show i wanted to keep my article. That's what the tags were put there for in the first place. If I'm starting to sound like a jerk, it's only because of my personal experience with the way things are being handled here. I'm only sticking around to eventually see my radio put into the 'pedia. Information slowly comes, but it is coming.--Logan. Logansryche (talk • contribs • logs) 11:10, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Conclusions
- On reviewing 12.45.207.2 (talk • contribs • logs)'s talk page, prior edits, and comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dashmate, it is not clear that Logansryche posted as 12.45.207.2. Statements by Logansryche in the Dashmate article -- "Not much is known about the radio as there is little to no information on it." and "The author does not have any other information then what has been given except for maybe a few photos of the radio for proof." -- seem more from a new editor rather than an experienced poster like 12.45.207.2. Either it was a good faith mistake by Logansryche or the more likely event that Logansryche did not post as 12.45.207.2 prior to the AfD. -- Jreferee t/c 19:21, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
