| Wikipedia is a free-content encyclopedia written in 250 languages by thousands of users like you and me from all walks of life. As a member of the Welcoming Committee, I would like to say thanks for being a part of this project.
Here are some links to help you, the new user, on your Wikipedia journey: Whether you're new to the project or have helped us for a while, remember to use edit summaries when you're done with a page. Summaries are important because, with those, other editors will understand what you have done with the content. REMEMBER: think twice before clicking "Save page" below the editing box, since whatever you write in the summary box will permamently go in the history of any page. (Spellchecking is important; you cannot change the summary data after you have finished editing.) Remember, also, to sign your name with four tildes (~~~~) or by pressing this button ( If you want to know how you're doing on Wikipedia, feel free to check out your list of contributions. If you don't know how to do something, type {{helpme}} on your talk page, and administrators will come to solve your problems. After you've stayed here for a while, you might want to take an editor review, or, even better, take a chance at adminship. Wherever the journey takes you, I wish you the best of luck and respect on Wikipedia. If you have any questions about my expertise or this site, you can e-mail me or talk to me, and I will see about the situation as best as possible. In the meantime, happy editing! |

[edit] Your Edits
Surfinghobo, you have made some good contributions to Wiki thus far. However, I've seen that some of your edits are very Point of View (POV). Wiki articles are suppose to be NPOV. Deciding what information is relevant should be part of the discussions forum if controversial; if not they should remain if it adds information to the article. Case in point was your deletion of the Trivia information for The Black Swan (film). People reading that article may find it beneficial to know that the DVD contains an audio commentary that contains many interesting and not well known facts about the film. You should consider this before deleting other's work. FrankWilliams 16:40, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
