Surrey Scout County (The Scout Association)

Scouting in Surrey refers to the Scout County which is part of the Scout Association of the United Kingdom. It is concurrent with the political county of Surrey, and provides Scouting opportunities for young people and adults in the area.[1]
The Elmbridge Museum in Weybridge is celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Scouting in Surrey by displays on its history from November 2007 to February 2008.[2]

[edit] Camp sites
The County is responsible for two camp sites, Bentley Copse Campsite and Walton Firs Campsite. The King of Sweden celebrated the 100th anniversary of Scouting at Walton Firs Camp in 2007.[4]
