Surinamese League is the top division of the Surinaamse Voetbal Bond, it was created in 1924. 12 teams participate in this league. The winner and the runner-up of the league are eligible to play in the CFU Club Championship and Inter Moengotapoe and SV Leo Victor played in the 2007 edition. The last two teams in the table are relegated to the Surinamese Eerste Klasse.
