[edit] Merge

I personally think that suprapubic cystostomy should have been merged into cystostomy and not vice versa. There is cystostomy information that will not fit into this article but no suprapubic cystostomy that will not fit into a general cystostomy article. InvictaHOG 11:37, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] vesicostomy

Currently, vesicostomy redirects here. Is that appropriate? Are these one method, or two methods? I gather a vesicostomy involves daily insertion of a catheter merely to dilate the sinus; a cystostomy involves an indwelling catheter (catheter remaining in the sinus). [edit] stray sentence

People with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) may reqiure a catheter if they have difficulty urinating.
