Stuart and Carol McCormick are fictional characters in the animated series South Park. They are the parents of Kenny McCormick. Mr. McCormick is voiced by Matt Stone. Mrs. McCormick has been voiced by Mary Kay Bergman and Eliza Schneider. She is now voiced by April Stewart. As revealed in the episode Chickenpox, Mr. McCormick's first name is Stuart. Carol's first name is actually uncertain, but fans have derived the name "Carol" from a conversation her husband had with another man in the episode "Cripple Fight". It has also been used as a throwaway name for many other female characters.

The McCormicks are one of the poorest families in town. Stuart was friends with Gerald Broflovski when they were teenagers, and built a "Clubhouse" - the current McCormick Household. However they seemed to part their separate ways after a falling out, which Carol claims stemmed from how Gerald became a wealthy lawyer and Stuart could not hold a job. Not much is known of Carol's past except that she had Kenny McCormick at the age of sixteen, and Kevin at thirteen.[citation needed] The McCormicks are also involved in Methamphetamine production, as revealed in Lil' Crime Stoppers when a mob boss mentions how they will "have to start having the McCormicks make our meths again".

Stuart wears a greasy shirt, a truckers hat that reads "SCOTCH", and dirty trousers. Carol wears an "I'm with stupid" lime green top, a lime green t-shirt that says, "God Bless America," or a plain green shirt, and dirty trousers. The arrow on her T-shirt is supposed to point to Stuart, but she is usually standing on the other side of him so the arrow is pointing somewhere else. Carol has occasionally been seen with a fake fur coat and a mini-skirt for church.

Mr. and Mrs. McCormick have a rather poor relationship. They often fight and argue (Stuart's apparent alcoholism and joblessness being frequent topics, as heard in the episode "Chickenpox"). In "Chickenlover", they appeared on "COPS" beating each other up while Kenny and Kevin laugh until Cartman [posing himself as a replacement for Officer Barbrady] beats both parents up for 'not respecting his authorit-ah'. They are also briefly seen fighting in the background in "Make Love, Not Warcraft". Despite all this, in "Cartman Joins NAMBLA" they appear to be quite happy and decide to have another child.

[edit] Kenny McCormick
Kenny is the fourth friend amongst the boys. He used to be constantly killed in some way, before his permanent reincarnation. He wears an orange parka which he never takes off, apart from a few occasions, which causes him to have a muffled voice. It has been mentioned his mother had him when she was sixteen, confirming that his mother is 25.

Little is known about Kevin, he appears to be around twelve (He is around the same age as Shelley Marsh, who is twelve) and has parted brown hair which sticks up. He rarely speaks but does speak in "Chickenlover" where he says, "Mom hit dad again!" during the "COPS" sequence with the domestic disturbance and in "Chickenpox" when he yells, "My waffle's done! My waffle's done!" after Carol argues with Stuart about being so poor that they have to eat frozen waffles for dinner every night. His voice is provided by Trey Parker and sounds like Bill, Terrance and Fosse, three of Kenny's classmates. He was also seen in "Spookyfish", when Kenny's mother tells Kenny to share his blanket with Kevin. Kevin's most recent appearance in the show was in the final episode of season eleven called "The List", where he was having dinner with the McCormick family.
In the episode "Quintuplets 2000" Both Kevin and Kenny are dressed up to go see Cirque De Cheville with their parents as seen in the beginning of the episode. Kevin is standing next to his brother and in front of Mrs. McCormick, but however when the scene cuts and grandpa Marvin Marsh wheels in Kevin is nowhere to be seen. When the parents leave he should be standing behind grandpa Marsh but he just vanished out of thin air. However in the following scene when the families arrive in Cirque De Cheville and are seated Kevin has reappeared and is sitting next to his brother and Stan's older sister Shelley who was not seen in the previous scene like Kevin was.
[edit] Karen McCormick
A small girl named Karen is seen with Kenny's family in "Best Friends Forever" during the scenes in the Amusement Park and the Hospital; she does not speak, and hasn't been seen before that episode. She is speculated to be Kenny's sister, but nothing about her is actually known except that Matt Stone has called her Karen. It is possible that she appeared in "The List" eating with the McCormick family. Though she can't be seen there seems to be a room for a person sitting next to Kenny and towards Stuart McCormick.
She is never seen at South Park Elementary, only Kenny and Kevin have ever appeared.
