[edit] High Schools

I removed details about Northwestern - Yes, it has a well known cafeteria, but that doesn't belong in the list of schools. Someone is more than welcome to set up a Northwestern page about it. I also pluralled the mention of Stratford's local radio station when talking about Lloyd Robertson (now there is MixFM as well as CJCS)

[edit] Photo caption

The caption for the photo of Stratford's city hall reads:

City of Stratford, Ontario, Canada's Location.

huh? I'd change it , but it appears to be generated by a template. -Dhodges 17:48, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Photo

At www.stratfordcitycentre.ca, there is an excellent picture of the city hall with a stone bridge over the river Avon in the winter. It would be nicer than the current one we have now.

[edit] Shakespearean ?? Festival

3rd paragraph states the name of the festival as it once was in its founding year, but now that name is no more. And it's NOT only "SHAKESPEARE fans" who come to see it, but many who don't even like Shakespeare come to see all the other plays. --Dunnhaupt 20:59, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

==Be Bold

Haven't been to Stratford in years, but I messed with this article anyway. I think I addressed the above concerns. If anyone else has the energy, this article could be improved by reworking the timeline into the history section. Prose is generally the preferred format rather than bulleted lists for encyclopedic entries. I did it for the "facts" list that was here before.Bobanny 21:32, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Great French Education

I'm adding this as an article because their French programs are exellent. They inspire young students to continue their studies in french to the furthest they can go with that education. There are only really two french teaching schools, one Bedford elementery school and Jeane SauvÄ—. But in the high school named St Mikes catholic secondary school there is a program where you can earn a french degree to apear on your graduation papers. EnsignLovel

[edit] Notable Residents

I want to promote the local talent as much as the next guy, but I don't feel that Ali Matthews, Chris Taylor or Dan McCarthy pass the notability test; they are removed. Ovation Festival text removed because it has its own page already. Cobolhacker 00:54, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Music Section

Sorry guys, the music section should NOT be a place to advertise or otherwise plug virtually unknown singers and/or bands.

And on that note, it's simply ludicrous to have names such as Richard Manuel and Loreena McKennit on the same level as, say, Dana Manning and Colin Fischer, no matter how much they and/or a select fan may like to draw that parallel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.92.203.29 (talk) 13:40, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quality rating

I have added the Canada/Ontario project tag and given an initial quality rating of "Start". The higher "B" rating might be earned if more references and citations are added to this article. PKT (talk) 22:09, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
